Card Folder Technique

Card folder technique ample card that uses Designer Series Paper and stamps. A notecard is tucked in the folder and can be slided out.

Card Folder Technique is something I came up with because I wanted to make a simpler version of a flower pot card.

I love it when the receiver can take the card apart and reuse it in other ways. For instance, this can be repurposed as a cute folder.

And here’s how it looks like on it’s side:

It’s an easy card to make and will give you the opportunity to use your Designer Series Papers (DSP)

You will need the following sizes so that your card can fit in a regular C6 envelope:

  • 7 x 3 inch card base. Score and fold it in half.
  • 2 x 3.5 inch basic white. Use a lace border punch and then fold in half. Use this lace strip to secure the bottom of the folder
  • 3-1/4 x 5-1/4 inch basic white card base.
  • Designer Series Paper (DSP) to fit the white card base. Trim it so that it’s slightly smaller than the card base. It looks nice when there’s a little border.

I hope that you enjoyed this fun fold card idea and that you’ll give it a go. You can also use this inspiration as inserts for your scrapbook and journals.
