The Plentiful Plants stamp set will delight any plant lover.
Today we’re taking inspiration from a favourite pastime – growing plants. I have to admit that it’s a hit or miss for me when it comes to keeping plants alive. Luckily, when I stamp plants on paper, they don’t die.
When I first saw this stamp set, I knew that I would love it. There are so many options – hanging plants, potted ones and even just leaves for a nice background.
I like cards that are re-usable. It makes me happy when a card can be taken apart and re-purposed. Hence, I made this card with a detachable book marker. Book markers are practical and something that we can never have enough of.
Here’s a video to show how I made the card using the Plentiful Plants stamp set. I used the coordinating Perfect Plants Dies to cut out the macrame plant hanger. Sticker sheets are perfect for this. You can also use card stock if you like. The coordinating set of dies can be used to cut out the pots and leaves too so make sure you check out what’s included in the dies set.
Here’s the list of products I used:
- Plentiful Plants Stamp Set
- Perfect Plants Dies
- Plentiful Plants Bundle
- Stitched So Sweetly Dies
- Fresh Freesia Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Cinnamon Cider Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Evening Evergreen Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Soft Succulent Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Basic White A4 Card Stock
- Cut and Embossing Machine
I used my colour wheel to help me with the colour coordination for this card. How about making this card in other colours too?
I hope that you enjoyed this card inspiration and that you’ll give it a go. Would you like to learn how to make cards? Let me know so we can organise one for you.
