Let’s use the Number of Years stamp set to make birthday cards.
Personalised cards are my best-sellers at weekend markets, especially milestone birthday ones.
Here’s how I made the card:
- Stamp the number with Versamark and then heat emboss in gold on a Basic White card front. Do the same with the dots.
- Stamp the streak in 3 colours.
- Cut balloons with a punch and attach to the card. I drew strings with a fine black marker.
- Stamp the greeting on another piece of Basic White and then cut to shape. Attach this to a gold banner.
- Add the finishing touches.
- Attach the card front to a card base.
Here’s a list of products I used:
- Balloon Builder Punch
- Embossing Powder
- Number of Years Stamp Set
- Basic White
- Versamark
I love the idea of stacking the streaks so that it resembles a rainbow. Isn’t it a clever technique?
I wonder what lovely cards you’ll be making with the Number of Years stamp set? What colour combinations will you be using? Would you be adding some heat-embossing? Will you be using it for your bullet journal and scrapbooking too? I think the numbers will look great on a journal.
I hope that you enjoyed this card inspiration and that you’ll give it a go.
