Today we’re using the Forever Fern stamp set and its’ coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies for a journal spread.
Have you ever tried using stamp sets and dies outside card making? I love using them for project beyond card making, especially for journal spreads.
Below, you will notice that I made a leaf out of a stamped image, a vellum leaf and a card stock leaf. I layered the 3 leaves and attached it with washi tape.
Below, I attached an owl to the stamped leaf.
These are just a few ways you can use the stamp set and dies to layer leaves on your journal spread.
There are other things that you can add to your spread. I used Designer Series Paper (DSP) to add colour and also washi tape as my adhesive. You can also embellish with stickers if you wish.
Which leaves from the Forever Flourishing dies and Forever Fern stamp set will you use? I’m excited to know how you’ll be layering your leaves. What other materials will you be using for your journal? Will you be using Designer Series Paper (DSP) too?
Here is a list of materials I used:
- Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper (DSP)
- Forever Fern Stamp Set
- Just Jade Classic Stampin’ Pad
- Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
- Vellum
- Forever Flourishing Dies
I hope that you enjoyed this Forever Fern journal inspiration and that you’ll give it a go.
