Journal collage art is a fun project that uses little cut-out bits of paper and embellishments.
I always have cut-out pieces and embellishments in a small box on my table and I empty it by making little works of art. It’s so much fun and satisfying because they can be accomplished in such a short time.
I also like to look through my stamp sets to find greetings and quotes that have encouraging and uplifting messages.
Collage gives me an opportunity to repurpose scraps that would have otherwise gone to landfill. The card stock I used are business cards that have misprint or outdated information on them. I gave them a second chance at life by turning them into something beautiful.
So what do we use these collage artworks for? They make gorgeous bookmarkers, scrapbook embellishment, gift tags and prompts for your journals. How about slipping one in your child’s lunchbox as inspiration for the day? We could all use a little inspiration so take this opportunity to make someone smile.
I hope that you enjoyed this inspiration and that you’ll give journal collage art a go. It’s a beautiful mindful and relaxing activity that takes you away from the screen.
