Let’s make non-traditional Christmas cards.
What happens when you don’t have Christmas stamp sets? Go through your stamp collection and envision them in a different light. Will using Christmas colours help?
The two cards above were made using stamp sets not meant for Christmas but as you can see I managed to make Christmas cards with them by using reds and greens.
I wonder what lovely cards you’ll be making using your stamp sets? What colour combinations will you come up with aside from red and green? Perhaps you’ll be adding silver and gold too?
Here is a list of products I used:
- Lovely as a Tree stamp set
- In the Meadow stamp set
- Wonder of Christmas stamp set
- Jar of Love stamp set
- Real Red card stock
- Crumb Cake card stock
- Circle Punch
- Basic White Cardstock
This is a really fun thing to do with your stamp sets. Inspiration will strike you and encourage you to think outside the box.
I love the Jar of Love card that I made. I think I’ll make more of that. Do you like it too? Can you think of other colour combination for this card?
Visit the online store for current stamp sets to help you with your card making.
Also would you like to learn how to make non-traditional Christmas cards in class? Let me know so we can organise one for you. Bring along your friends too so you can share the experience.
I hope that you enjoyed this Christmas inspiration and that you’ll give it a go.
