Delicate Dahlias is perfect for making DIY washi tape.
This stamp set is a Sale-a-bration freebie available until the end of September. We’ll be using the small flowers found in the stamp set for our project.
In one of my posts, we made DIY washi and then used it to make a stunning card.
For today’s project, We’re using an A4 size adhesive sheet trimmed into 1-1/2 inch strips. We’re also using 2 sets of complimentary colours from the Regals colour wheel as our guide. I’ve chosen Crushed Curry, Blackberry Bliss, Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler.
Here’s a video to show you the technique. (I kept on saying Cherry Cobbler instead of Crushed Curry for the yellow ink pad. Oops).
Here is a list to help you so you can make this at home:

Did you know that you can also wrap and give your DIY washi to a friend? I’m sure that they will find lovely uses for it.
I hope that you will give DIY washi with your Delicate Dahlias a go. You’ll find washi tape handy when you need to make a quick card or when you need embellishment for your paper craft projects.
Would you like to make washi tape in class? Let me know so we can organise one for you. Bring along your friends too so you can share the experience.
