Let’s use the Tailored Tag Punch for a fun Tile Technique to make a card.
The idea is to lay your tiles side by side, almost like a mosaic. I like to cut the card stock with the punch before I stamp the images. Don’t worry if the images don’t completely fit in your tile. It’s nice to see just parts of the images (have a look at the palm trees, leaves and flowers).
I suggest that you mount the tiles on white card stock for a clean and simple card. Ink the edges of your tiles to define it’s shape.
You don’t need to embellish with big things. A couple of sequins for a bit of shine will do nicely.
Here are the materials I used for my cards:
- Basic White A4 Cardstock
- 2020-2022 In Color
- Clear Block D
- Timeless Tropical stamp set
- Nature’s Beauty stamp set
- Tailored Tag Punch

I hope you enjoyed this technique and that you’ll give it a go. I’m curious to know what projects you’ll be making with this technique. I think this will look fabulous in your journal and scrapbooking too.
